Finished the power steering delete today. Took out the rest of the hard lines and looped the fittings on the rack so the fluid can pass easily from one side of the rack to the other. This will make the steering alot easier, and keep the rack lubed. Also started cleaning up the trans case. its caked with 20 years of oil and sludge. its coming off, its just a huge mess. Right now I am waiting on the clutch I ordered from Illegal Garage before i start installing the 4AGE.

Had some trouble with the exhaust system. the midpipe to cat bolts were so badly rusted, they just crumbled. I had hoped to use the stock exhaust for a month or so while i got everything else working, but it looks like I'll have to get the whole system sorted out before i start her up. I'll be cutting the old system off in the next couple days.
I did get the front of the driveshaft off today (was a bit of a pain) so really that exhaust is the only thing holding me up. I'll be working all day Saturday on the car, hopefully have that 4ac out by the end of the day.

Almost ready for engine removal. I continued removing the wiring and hoses and the engine is almost 100% disconnected from the chassis. The only thing remaining is to remove the exhaust midpipe, disconnect the driveshaft and yank that 4AC out. The bolts holding the exhaust together were pretty badly rusted, so i sprayed em down with rust buster and I'll let them soak tonight. There was alot more wiring than I expected for the 4AC. When I am finished with the swap all that will be gone. the only wiring needed is the ignition, and I plan on hiding all that.
